I hate modern hip hop and rap music for the most part, yet I actually think the soundtrack fit in a strange way, and I had my doubts beforehand.

it just felt really contrived and poor to me like they were trying to make it seem like it fit but it was completely out of place

i just confronted my sister and asked her to stop forcing political conversations on me constantly. i explained that it made me feel uncomfortable and that i wished she would consider my feelings before she said things. she said i was trying to control her and that i should just work on myself and control my temper and walk away from her when she offends me, and that me asking her to change her own behavior to please me is wrong.

i told her that i was just asking her to do so out of respect and so we could keep peace because we have extremely different opinions and it constantly results in conflict, and id like to have a more mature relationship with her where we both consider each others feelings before spewing out words that might result in intense fights. the rest of my family is willing to do this, but she takes it really personally and says she shouldnt have to filter herself around her family even if it makes them uncomfortable and upset.

am i wrong for asking her to do that? i offered to do the same for her…
